    OUR SUSTAINABILITY JOURNEY

    THE RITUAL OF TEA, ORIGIN-SOURCED

As tea sommeliers, our aim is to be the gateway to the world of tea, our ethos is simple and enduring: to honour the culture of tea while reimagining its place in the modern world, in Australia and beyond.

    ETHICALLY SOURCED

Consciously handpicked, blended to perfection, elevated into a memorable brew.

Every leaf, responsibly grown and traded fairly, is handpicked at just the right moment, carrying a story of respect and craftsmanship before our master tea maker blends it, honouring both the hands that pluck the tea and the cup in yours.

    Our People

    Meet Our Passionate Founder

Raised on the island of Sri Lanka, where tea is woven into the fabric of daily life, our founder Ashok Dias developed a deep respect for the leaf and the role it plays beyond the cup. Rooted in a third-generation lineage of tea merchants, his upbringing instilled a profound appreciation for tea as both craft and culture, a ritual that brought moments of care and connection.

    Tea Expert

A TIMELESS RITUAL, ROOTED IN HERITAGE

Ashok spent several years working alongside specialty coffee roasters, observing a culture that placed real emphasis on preparation, service, and where things came from. It was there that the contrast became clear. Tea, despite its depth and history, was often treated with far less consideration. Encouraged by a mentor to trust his background and instincts, Ashok stepped away to learn more about how specialty tea was grown, handled, and shared.

“My understanding of tea came from living with it, not studying it. I saw how it moved through daily life, how people gathered around it, and how much attention went into getting it right. Tea was never introduced to me as a ceremony or a concept. It was present in everyday moments at home and beyond. That familiarity shaped how I think about tea now, as something that should function naturally in people’s lives. Growing up around tea in Sri Lanka gave me a practical relationship with it. Later, when I saw how tea was treated elsewhere, I realised how much of that care and understanding was missing. This is our reason for being.”
