The four pillars that ground us
Artisan
Working in small batches lets us keep both quality and impact in view. Our artisan approach favours curated processes over mass production, reducing waste, protecting freshness and ensuring we only make what will genuinely be enjoyed.
Ethical
Long term relationships with growers help sustainability happen in real terms, not just on paper. We prioritise partners who care for their workers, their soil and their communities, so the benefits of each harvest are shared more fairly.
Sustainability
We see sustainability as a chain of thoughtful decisions, from how much we source and when, to how we blend, pack and ship. By keeping volumes tight, routes efficient and materials considered, we work to lower our footprint at every step.
Innovation
Many of our innovations are a quest to do things with less impact. Whether it’s experimenting with low waste formats, brewing methods that use less energy, or more responsible materials, new ideas must serve both flavour and the future.
Our Achievements
At Tea Drop, sustainability is woven into every decision we make, and we’re continually working to lighten the footprint of each cup we serve.
PLANT-BASED TEA BAGS
Our 100% biodegradable pyramid tea bags are crafted to leave nothing behind. Made from plant‑based woven mesh, they’re free from harmful matter, stand up to boiling water, and support responsible disposal.

SUSTAINABILITY
Our soft plastic pouches are made from materials suitable for recycling, supporting the circular economy and intentionally driving incremental improvements to reduce the environmental impact of our non-GMO approach to packaging.

IMPACT
We offset 100% of emissions from our electricity use and company vehicles through verified climate projects, as part of our commitment to meaningful climate action. We’re continually working to use less energy, boost efficiency, and choose lower‑impact options across our supply chain, guided by ongoing improvement targets.

COLLABORATION
Our supply chain is built on ethical sourcing, clear supplier standards, and careful environmental considerations. We choose partners who share our values and work together on responsible freight and logistics, recognising that supply chain impact is significant at every stage.

Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP)
Nurturing a tea world that’s just, resilient, and in balance with nature.
We are proud to be a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, a global non-profit that helps strengthen our own commitments with independent oversight. Together, we work within established frameworks that support fair labour conditions and the wellbeing of tea workers across growing regions. We help protect ecosystems and build resilience against climate change. So far, over 1 million tea workers have been impacted. We are committed to further empowering women and improving incomes across the tea growing community.
Our Environment
A true tea ritual must honour the ground from which it grows. Guided by our purpose; People, Planet and Product, we take responsibility throughout the journey from field to cup.

Climate-led impact
We offset 100% of emissions associated with our operational electricity use and company vehicles through verified climate projects, as part of our commitment to meaningful climate action. We’re continually working to use less energy, boost efficiency, and choose lower‑impact options across our supply chain, guided by ongoing improvement targets.

Packaging with Purpose
We’ve moved to plant‑based materials in our signature tea bags and paper-based, envelopes that are 100% biodegradable, as part of our long‑term sustainability mission. Our FSC certified outer cartons, kraft paper, and honeycomb wrap protect each blend in eco-friendly packaging designed to tread lightly on the environment.

Sustainable Sourcing and Supply Chain.
Grounded in ethical sourcing, clear supplier standards, and thoughtful care to the extent of choosing seasonal, small‑batch leaves, capturing peak freshness and flavour while avoiding the excess of mass production. We partner with like‑minded producers who share our values and continually refine our freight and logistics to lighten our impact from origin to cup.
